The Best Affordable Vintage Inspired Chronograph Around $200 - Dan Henry 1939 Review

Dan Henry is an extremely interesting brand that has become an increasingly hot topic among watch enthusiasts. Named after a prolific collector, the Dan Henry brand draws inspiration from his own vast and impressive collection. The result is a series of watches based on some of the most iconic timepieces from the 30s, 40s, 60s, and 70s but still with their own style, just enough to set them apart. Today we take a look at the 1939, and as the name suggests, this has elements of some of the most iconic chronographs of that era. With hints of the legendary Longines calibre 13ZN and cues from the Tissot calibre 33.3, along with many more, it is quite possibly the classiest chronograph in its price range. As we all know, these classic watches from the 30s and 40s are notoriously expensive, rare and risky to buy, so what happens if you want the look without the risk? No matter if you are a seasoned watch connoisseur or just getting into watches, this is a serious value proposition to consider. How is this all achieved for such an affordable price, and what are the negatives? Today, we find out! 5 Watches Under $200 That Will Double In Value - From Star Trek To Retro Chic & Modern Art

In a previous video (linked below) I looked at watches mostly from my own collection, plus pieces that I have had experience with under $500 which I believed would double in value. Today I challenged myself to find 5 watches all under $200 that would do the same. The result was a fun hunt with some rather interesting and bizarre pieces that I am sharing with you here. Included is a bizarre Swiss made abstract art inspired piece, a watch with a flying Star Trek Enterprise, one of the coolest retro looking nautical racing chronographs, and a piece featuring a rare evolutionary step in the history of digital watches. Iconic Watch Designs To Own For Less - Drawing Inspiration From History's Greatest Watches

Join us today as we showcase a new watch brand, UNDONE. We will show you two sides of the brand; the Urban Vintage and the Mystique collection. The Urban Vintage collection is a set of watches that draw inspiration in their color schemes from iconic designs. While they all beat with the same Seiko Meca-Quartz VK61 movement, they each have their individuality. I hesitate to call them homages, as they are emulating the look rather than copying it. On the other side of the spectrum, we have the Mystique collection, full of vibrant dial colors that draw inspiration from our solar system. Whether it be the red dial of Mars, or the blue of Mercury, the mesmerizing, minimalist dials will be sure to turn heads. Check out the collection at our store: Thank you for watching.

After many requests from the good Gentry to check out Undone watches, today I finally take a look and review the appropriately named "Urban" vintage inspired chronograph.

This is no ordinary watch, or watch brand for that matter! With a totally new approach to affordable watches, they give their buyers the option to customise almost everything via their fun and easy to use website. No matter if you want something like an Omega Speedmaster, perhaps a classic 60s Heuer, or the Rolex Daytona, all the styles are there to choose from, best of all, you can add your own special touch too.

You can create your own design, and in this video I try it out for myself, as well as taking a look at an already pre-designed model called The Mercury, from their Mystique line.

I also discuss how this brand came to be and the man behind this unique approach to bespoke watches. Before Undone, this level of customization was only available through Seiko modification or super high end luxury brands.
