I installed a cheap inverter in to the DIY Powerwall and reviewed my initial impressions. This is the Reliable brand available online. Mine is from Ebay for $295. It is pure sine wave, 3,000 watt. However, as you will see in the video, there is not a lot of surge power. It is 48v dc input, and 60hz 120v ac output. Eventually a better inverter will be installed, but this will do in the mean time while I save up the cash.
