Well known for its paranormal activity, The Madison Seminary has a dark and depressing past. Built in 1847, this location was originally intended to be a school. It wasn’t until 1891 when the building was purchased by the Women’s Relief Corp that history really began to lend credence to the astounding claims of activity. When the Women’s Relief Corp bought the building, their primary mission was to house and assist women who have been made widows of war. However, this angelic organization also housed and cared for anyone who were (for whatever reason) unable to care for themselves. This could include the elderly, young orphaned children, and the mentally disabled. This situation presented circumstances that inherently created or resulted in profound sadness and pain. It’s our theory (and the theory of several other paranormal investigators) that emotions such as this may have a tendency to become residually trapped within a location. The mortar and brick of an old stone building such as this is thought to intensify or even possibly fuel residual type activity. There are multiple claims of paranormal activity such as shadow figures, and disembodied voices. There are even claims that strongly suggest intelligent type haunting that include people being scratched, hit or punched., direct responses to questions, and a doll that appears to move from room to room all on its own. We sincerely hope that you enjoy our documentary of the Madison Seminary. Our special guests include investigator Ray Goosby, evidential medium Barbe Saint John, owner Tom Cassell, and investigator Cory Sapic. Please remember to comment, like, and share this video. On December 31st, the mother of Yasuko Miyazawa opened the door to her daughter's family home, only to discover a house of horrors. This idyllic, four-piece family had been butchered overnight, for seemingly no reason at all. And what's worse: the killer had left behind a treasure trove of evidence, but has escaped justice for close to two decades now. Written, hosted, and production by Micheal Whelan. Music and production by Tyson Nordgren.
